I really love e.lf. for 3 main reasons:

Like many MAC-aholics out there, I purchased the Lady Gaga Viva Glam Lippy.

And OMG! The color is faboulous!

It's like the perfect pink... only better cuz its "Gaga Fab"!

Oh and from the Spring Colour Forecast, I only got Bubbles.

It's also a pretty cool pinky purplish shade.
Gosh, all these beautiful lipsticks at MAC are leaving my poor wallet empty!
Money well spent!

Hard Candy Honeymoom Blush

Since my last Hard Candy purchase, I have been very satisfied with their products. On my latest trip to Wal-Mart I picked up Honeymoon Blush. I love it, only thing is that it's more of a highlight than a blush.

Even though the color looks very orangy, it is actually a really sheer pearly color. I use this as an all over shimmer. It is a very subtle shimmer, not overpowering at all. Perfect for the ideal daytime shimmer.

This sponge was way to rough and harsh on my skin. It left my skin feeling stripped and all red. However, I did have a little whitehead and it did remove that. My skin did feel softer, but the pain while scrubbing ever so lightly was horrible. In the end it was only $1, so you get what you pay for. Maybe if I invest in a better quality one, it will work better.

As the weather becomes cooler here in Arizona, I notice my skin becoming more dry and my lips get very chapped and wind burned. I have searched high & low for a healing salvation to my dry skin, but all attempts have failed....until now.

Nivea Creme

OMG! Fantastic thick cream that has come to save my dry hands and rough cuticles. I love the way this creme smells, so fresh and clean. I purchased this creme at Target for $2.99 in the travel section.

Nivea Kiss of Moisture Essential Lip Care & Hydrating Lip Care SPF 4

I love them! I use the Essential Lip Care (Darker Blue Tube) at night before bed. And I use the Hydrating Lip Care with SPF 4 (lighter blue tube) throughout the day. They smell so yummy, just like the lotion. I have tried so many lip balms such as Burt's Bees, Chapstick, Blistex, you name it and they did no justice to my dry lips. These lip products are heaven sent to me! I swear by them. I also purchased these at Target for $2.99 each.

Avon Lip Glosses

I recently purchased some AVON products. It had been ages since I'd purchased something from AVON, so after flipping through a catalogue, these 2 products caught my eye.

Blooming Pout Lip Gloss

This is a lip gloss that helps to "plump" lips. It also starts out clear, but gradually turns to a rosy pink. It has a tingling minty sensation upon application. The tingling stops after a few minutes. I didn't notice a big "plumping" effect.

Colortrend Shimmering Lip Gloss in Pink Sparkle.

This is a cute light pink lip gloss that has glitter reflects added to it. I loved that it wasn't too sticky.
Both products came out to less than $7

Essie Nails a la' Shayne Lamas

The reason for this compulsive Essie Nail Polish Purchase was greatly influenced my Shayne Lamas for the E! Channel's "Leave It To Lamas" show. I recently saw an episode in which she is wearing this gorgeous soft pinkish white nail polish, I fell in love with her color! I new I had to hunt it down. I saw a close up of the nail polish and realized it was an Essie polish.

The hunt was on!

Overall this product was fairly good, that's why I rated it an 8. The powder shadows are pretty good but the cream one's crease and that's a no-no. The eye liner is pretty blah and the applicator is fairly decent.

I would think this is an affordable, yet inexpensive gift to give to any makeup addict you know!

What I also love about this kit is how portable it is. You can just toss it in your purse and you've got your complete eye makeup on the go.

I love the scent of pomegranates! This body polish has tiny walnut pieces to help exfoliate the skin. It is not harsh at all and the smell is very soothing. It left my skin very soft to the touch and also visibly radiant. I love that I got it so cheap too! It's typically $6 at the regular Body Shop. Thanks TJMaxx for saving me a few bucks!

I was at my local Target recently and found an e.l.f. display. There were so many products to choose from & the prices were incredibly recession friendly! I saw that there were a few brushes for $1 each and I didn't hesitate to purchase those.

I must admit that the quality is exceptional! These are full size brushes with very soft bristles. I definitely give them a 10 out of 10!

Hurry, run to Target and see if you can get some before they run out!

Never Count Your Chickens Before They Hatch...

Thankfully this year, we were able to receive a Christmas Bonus at my job. When I found out the good news, I was ecstatic! Images of all the wonderful Forever 21 tops, MAC Holiday kits, and shoes, etc. ran through my head. I knew once I had the money, I would go on a much deserved shopping spree with the hubby. Well to make a long, super long story short, I GOT SUPER EFFIN JIPPED!!! Yes, I was told I would receive a minimum of around $750 and when I was told that I would only get $400, I was like, "Homeboy say what?!?!?!?" Yeah not cool.

Don't get me wrong, I am so thankful that we even got a Christmas bonus because our economy is like crap right now, but the word is a lot of staff got over $1,000! WTF!

Honestly $400 is seriously not much now at days & I was actually going to use about half of the money for Christmas gift shopping for family. So much for that.

To be honest, I'm not very thrilled about Christmas this year. My hubby and I have so many bills & a mortgage payment every month. And the medical bills are racking up due to my Thyroid issue. Honestly we have like NO MONEY FOR GIFTS THIS YEAR.

It's such a tough time.

I know we aren't the only one's on the "Oh No, It's X-Mas" boat, but all I can say is, this too shall pass.

Not much has changed from last season, Vicki is still a power hungry alpha female, Tamara is still too busy trying to act like a 21 year old and being jealous of Gretchen.

Oh, and Gretchen has moved from old men, to sleazy ex-housewives hubby, Slade.

And there appears to be drama with Jeana possibly leaving the show, which brings me to Alexis. She is the new Peroxide Loving Lady in Coto De Caza.

I don't know about you girls, but I'm very much looking forward to all the new cat fights, drunk antics and blonde moments on this season.

I purchased these Hard Candy Cosmetics @ Wal-Mart a while back ago so I've finally decided to share them with you. I got a beautiful pink blush in Living Doll. I also got a lipstick in Fire Alarm. I love this lipstick, it is very familiar to MAC's Myth. I honestly just love nude color lipsticks and this one if def my go to lippy. I always carry it in my purse and the formula is very creamy.

I use to be a Lancome Hypnose junkie, but ever since CG introduced this mascara, I've been hooked! The quality is just as good as Hypnose and for a fraction of the price! Hypnose is somewher around $20 for one tube and I got two tubes of CG Lash Blast for less than $10!

I'm not quite sure about Dim Lip Erase. I still haven't tried it and I think it looks kind of dark for me.

Soft Dazzle is an beautiful shade, I also liked My Favorite Pink.

I have been wanting to try out MAC eyeliners forever, hopefully Teddy won't let me down.

Runway Fav looks so much like Oyster Girl, which happens to be my favorite of all time.

Mary Kate + Ashley + Walmart= Cheap Makeup! I recently went to a local Walmart & saw these really cheap MK&A Cosmetics. I remember back in like my freshman yr of college, that I had some really cute pixie shimmers from this cosmetics line, but one day they just stopped selling! I was like WTF? Honestly, they are so inexpensive & the quality is great. I picked up 3 items and all 3 came with a little "bonus" to them. For example, I got the "Double Cover 2 in 1 Concealer" & that came with a free translucent setting powder. Why 2 in 1 you may ask? Well because you have one side that has a doe shaped application & on the other is a lipstick like concealer. Cool huh? I also picked up an awesome bronzer in "Sunlight Bronze". And that came with a little flat brush too! But may favorite is the "Eye Drama Powder Eye Color". The color is so rich and pigmented. I was I had a better cam to take a pic of a swatch, but my is crap-ola! I would compare the quality of this eyeshadow to that of a M.A.C. pigment. This also came with a free mini black eyeliner. And to my surprise, each item was less than $3! Yes, gotta love clearance prices!!! I hope they don't get rid of this line, because I know I will be back for more...

Back2MAC Here2STAY

I had been hearing that M.A.C. would be cancelling their "Back2Mac" program through various bloggers. When I heard this news I was devastate. I decided to go straight to the source to see if this "rumor" was true. I called M.A.C. and told them what I had heard and they responded with this...

"Back2Mac is one of the best programs we offer to our customers. We would never discontinue it. It has been going on for years and as far as I'm concerned it is here to stay."

The MUA seemed somewhat baffled by my doubt, but I am very thankful that she took the time to answer my questions.

Oh and if anyone that works for M.A.C. reads my post, I beg to ALWAYS & FOREVER have this program. Because not only do we get a free lippy or eyeshadow, but we are also helping our planet by recycling.

A love when I touch my hair and it's silky soft. To achieve that soft feel, I apply Biosilk Silk Therapy to my hair on a daily basis. And I just love how it smells, I really can't describe it, it's just so nice. I buy my Biosilk at Costco for the best price in town, less than $9 for the 5.64 fl. oz. bottle. At other places such as Target they sell for over $20 a bottle. Once when I purchased it at the JC Penny Beauty Salon, the sales lady told me that you can also use it on your skin like lotion. I tried it and it's true. Wow silky hair & skin from one little bottle.

A couple days ago I was feeling a bit down in the dumps. I was having one of those days where you just feel so... blah. My hubby, being the super sweet guys that he is bought me an uber cute Betseyville by Betsey Johnson purse. I had been wanting one forever. The one he got me is so girly, I love it! It's everything I want in a bag. Pink, flowery, trendy, made by my fav. designers, and spacious. The actual name of the handbag is "SweetHeart", how cute is that?! I comes in a variety of colors, blue, black, and of course P!nk. I can definitely see myself purchasing more Betseyville bags, they are just so irresistible. Once again another Recession-Friendly tip for all the beauty addicts.

Pedicures, who doesn't love them??? There's nothing like getting your poor hardworking footsies pampered. However, the price can be a bit too much after awhile. This is why I decieded to set out to find some pedi products that were similar to those a my salon. I headed to Sally's Beauty Supply for the scavenger hunt. And to my surprise, I made some great discoveries.

I love how colorful this summer's nail trend is! I decided to get a few more of L.A. Girls Disco Brites nail polishes. I got them at a local mall for less than $3 each. I highly recommend that you ladies try this brand because it is so long lasting. I would rank it up there with OPI. & not to mention for a fraction of the price! Have you seen Rhianna's yellow nail polish??? Well that inspired me to get this Yellow Polish in PSYCHEDELIC! I also picked up this cool blue shade in DEEJAY... love it! I think that when I have my give-a-way (will be very soon, stay tuned), I will add a few of these polishes.

It has been said that accessories are what make or break an outfit....I truly believe that this is true. Notice who sometimes you can totally spruce up an outfit by just adding a simple necklace or pair of earrings??? It's almost like a magical accessory power! As an true Forever 21 addict, I decided to purchase a few odds and ends there since this store is so affordable and fashionable. I picked up 2 heart necklaces that were $5.80 each and a cocktail ring that was around the same price too!!! I know that there are lots of shops that have many beautiful accessories, but to me nothing beats Forever 21's prices, originality and quality. Don't get me wrong, what girl doesn't love to see a beautiful blue box fromTiffany's every once in a while? But when you need a little something to complete an ensemble Forever 21 is right there to help.

Hi everyone. First of all I'd like to welcome & thank my new followers...wooow 47 baby!!!

Next order of business, I apologize for being away for quite sometime. My health hasn't been great.I was recently diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and all I can say is that it has gotten the best of me. I am constantly tired & have zero energy, this explains my absence, slowly but surely I will be posting more often. I have done so much shopping and I can't to share with all of you! This leads us to my most recent purchase. As you may know I was highly anticipating the Colour Craft Collections from MAC. I decided to go pick up a few things yesterday and this is what I got...

This Quad is great for a smokey eye... I'll have to try it later and post it.

Colour Crafted Lipstick is a beautiful pink color similar to St. Germain, but a whole lot more sheer.

This weekend I headed over to Walgreens to purchase Bumpits. I had been wanting to try this because I was so tired of the damage teasing does to my hair. To my surprise, the were actually on sale for $9.99! WOW! I went home super happy knowing that I'd have luscious/sexy/voluminous hair with ease from now on all thanks to Bumpits!
To make a long story short, they sucked =( I really had a difficult time getting the little sucker to stay on my head. I ended up still having to tease my hair a bit to get it to kinda stay! What the heck, this just defeats the purpose of purchasing it.
So today I marched myself back to Walgreens to return it. The store manager told me that many others had been retuning them too! He said that his wife & sister-in-law bought them too and hated them.
If you're one of the luck ladies who were able to get this product to work for you, then kudos to you my darlings!

I'm actually at work today, completely bombarded by paperwork & other misc. crap that needs to be done, yet I have ZERO motivation to do it! BLAH, it's Thursday so this probably means I got PRE-FRIDAY LAZINESS! Oh well! What is a girl to do? Like any MAC addict, I decided to see if I could get some 411 on future collections and stumbled across this amazing blogger.

Her name is Linn & she lives in South Switzerland and is a MAC Makeup Artist. I must also add that she is beautiful!!! Her blog has so much 411 on MAC! The blog is written in both Swedish and English. Check her out!

I saw that she has this awesome pic posted of the COLOUR CRAFT COLLECTION! Amazing right?! I personally, am in L.O.V.E. with this collection! Look at those MSF's, aren't they to die for??? The lipglasses are like those of the Sugarsweet Collection. And look at that eye shadow quad! Effin stoked to get this stuff!!! I've got my eye definitely set to pick up Triple Fushion & Natural Flare. I'm still undecided about the Lip products. Yesterday I went to MAC to check out the new STYLE WARRIOR collection. I must say the collection is fabulous, but I only got one thing (sad right), but I managed to get my hands on BRAVE NEW BRONZE. This lippy is great, it kind of like a nude with a little umph to it. BOTTOM LINE: I love it! Not to mention the packaging is SUPER CUTE!!! =)

I also had 6 items for BACK 2 MAC and with those I decided to get SNOB. I love it! LOVE IT! I really appreciate the fact that MAC has this BACK 2 MAC program because, not only do you get a free lippy, but you also are helping the environment. ♥YEAY FOR ECO FRIENDLY MAKEUP COMPANIES♥
